Born in Hiroshima.

2004
Studied under Fujiya Sakuma, grandson of Totaro Sakuma who worked with Shoji Hamada, Shiko Munakata, and Bernard Leach.

2012
Established his own studio in Hiroshima.

Being the second time we have Shun Yoshino at Contorno, he is now creating master pieces for his Expo at Zii Ropa! Make sure to visit his show on September 22, 2024!

We just can't have enough of Shun! His presence makes the studio glow of happiness and joy! He is always on the mood for dancing, michelada, tacos and mole!

Shun has become a very special member of the Contorno Family. We love to have him at the studio and we are pleased to be hosting a Wheel Throwing and Glazing Master Class for our student community!
